Pakistan's JAveria Khan Appointed Captain OF ICC Women's Development Squad:
Dubai: International Cricket Council (ICC) has appointed Pakistan's Juriya Khan as captain of the ICC Women's Development Squad.

According to details, Pakistan women's team cricketer Juria Khan has been appointed by the ICC as the captain of the ICC Women Development Squad.

The squad will play six Twenty20 matches against different teams in England, with the other squad players belonging to the Associated Countries.

Javeriya Khan said that it was an honor for me to be named the captain of the Women Development Squad, playing with team players from other countries will help improve individual performance.
Former captain of the national women's cricket team, Sana Mir, congratulated Juriya Khan in her message on social networking site Twitter.

The ICC says the Women's Development Squad aims to improve the game of women's cricket before the England Cricket Board has organized the WGDS program in November and July 2018.

The Women's Development Squad will play its first match between England Women's Academy on July 29 and the second match against the Southern Wipers on July 31.


Similarly, on Friday, August 2, the Women's Development Squad will face the Surrey Stars.
